Najczęściej zadawane pytania

Assembly and Construction

Can I assemble the HIY structure myself without construction experience? +
Yes! Our structures are designed to be assembled intuitively, like assembling furniture from IKEA. You only need a basic drill, level, and ladder. All elements are precisely fitted, and the process does not require specialized skills.
How long does it take to assemble the structure? +
A structure with an area of 30 m² can be assembled by two people in one day. Closing the volume with windows and doors takes an average of 7 days, and finishing to key standards takes 2 to 3 months, depending on the chosen standard.
What tools are needed for assembly? +
You only need simple tools such as a drill, level, and ladder, which can be purchased at any store. You do not need to invest in cranes or other expensive equipment.
Can I spread the construction over time? +
Yes. You can build at your own pace, for example, only on weekends, without worrying about compromising the quality of the structure. This solution is ideal for those who prefer to gradually invest in their home.
Can I customize the design of the structure to my needs? +
Yes, we offer the possibility to customize the layout of rooms, the placement of windows and doors. As part of the order, you will receive detailed project documentation that you can adjust before production begins.

Transport and Location

Can I transport the structure myself? +
Yes! A structure with an area of 30 m² fits in the trunk of an SUV or a small van. This significantly reduces transport costs compared to traditional modular homes.
Will the HIY structure work in hard-to-reach places? +
Yes. The elements are short and lightweight (each weighs less than 18 kg), allowing them to be moved even through narrow corridors or places inaccessible to heavy equipment.
Is delivery of the house possible to any location? +
The HIY system is delivered on a compact pallet, allowing delivery to most locations, including narrow or hard-to-reach places.

Finishing and Insulation

What finishes are available for the HIY structure? +
You can choose any finishing materials, from wooden facades, through Cedral panels, to metal roofs or ceramic tiles. The structure is prepared for a wide range of solutions, including the heaviest tiles.
What types of facades are suitable for the HIY structure? +
The outer part of the HIY structure must be covered with OSB-3 tongue-and-groove boards. We recommend facades made of Cedral panels, clinker bricks, natural wood (larch, cedar), or plasters on a styrofoam mesh. Each solution is compatible with the HIY structure.
What insulation options are available for the HIY structure? +
The HIY structure is compatible with PIR insulation, PIR boards, mineral wool, or spray insulation methods. This allows you to adjust the insulation parameters to your needs.
Is HIY durable and resistant to weather conditions? +
Yes. The BSH wood we use is dimensionally stable, resistant to moisture, mold, woodworms, and fire. The structure can be assembled in stages without worrying about the quality of the material.

Wholesale Options and Ecology

What are the ecological benefits of the HIY structure? +
Our structures use BSH wood – a material with a low carbon footprint that does not require chemical protective agents. Thanks to innovative production, we minimize waste to less than 1%, making HIY one of the most ecological construction solutions.
Does HIY offer wholesale options for developers? +
Yes. We offer wholesale deliveries of structures optimized for flat-pack transport. This is an ideal solution for building estates, with the possibility of quick implementation and cost minimization.
How many flat-packs fit on one truck? +
100 structures of 30m², 70 structures of 55m², and 50 structures of 70m².

Formalities and Regulations

Does HIY comply with local building regulations? +
Yes. The structures comply with local requirements. Houses with an area of up to 70 m² can be built with notification in Poland, and in Ireland according to the "exempted development" regulations. For larger buildings, we provide the necessary certificates and documentation.
Do I need a building permit for such a house? +
In many cases, you can apply for an exemption from the building permit. If local requirements do not allow this, you must apply for a permit at the local office.
What certificates are required to complete the construction? +
We provide the structure with a 10-year warranty, certificates for wood and metal connectors, as well as documentation from a construction engineer. Electrical work must be performed by a certified electrician.
How does HIY compare to modular homes? +
HIY is cheaper, more flexible, and simpler to assemble. It does not require cranes or specialized construction teams, and the entire process from order to assembly takes less time than with modular homes.
